Sarah Jane and I had a Chocolate and Cheerios picnic tonight and watched the new episode of Doctor Who.
I didn’t care too much for the new theme too much, but the episode was great. It was a bit scary for SJ in places (Sophie has never looked so frightening), but she really connected with the characters of The Doctor and Amy.
She also made the association between the Police Box in the corner of the room and the TARDIS on the TV.
I’m eternally grateful to Russel T. Davis for bringing DW back to our screens, but I never really enjoyed his stories that much. Steve Moffat on the other hand really nails it for me. I don’t even mind the fact that the Doctor is now only 12 years old [Are you sure about that? - Ed] just as long as he’s eccentric, and not *too* cool
(Yeah, I’m looking at you David T…).
The new TARDIS set, it is bigger than the old one, but strangely looks smaller…
