It’s a going to be a memorable weekend. The Silurians return to Doctor Who, the final episode of ABC’s Lost, and tonight we found out what Life On Mars / Ashes to Ashes has really been about.
I just watched the last ever episode of Ashes to Ashes and it was fab. Truly a great way to end a great story that has, if you count Life on Mars, run for 5 seasons.
The last episode of Life On Mars was excellent, and brought to a close a really intriguing story in a very satisfying way, but left some of the key questions unanswered. Tonight’s close to the follow on series finally addressed all of those nagging questions and brought the story to a final (final) close.
We now know all we need to know about Gene Hunt, and where the Mars/Ashes universe really is.
I really wanted to reveal a bunch of spoilers, but I won’t – I urge you to watch the whole thing from the beginning using whatever means you can. And please disregard the terribly terrible ending to the US version – that has nothing to do with it.
Bloody brilliant.
I just hope LOST can match it.
