Turning the Spyder Arctic III laser into something more useful

I recently purchased a Spyder Arctic III 445nm Blue Laser from Wicked Lasers. It was always my intention to rebuild the diode in a more suitable enclosure with a driver so that it could be used for something a bit more useful than waving around like a Li[Shhh!!! – Don’t mention the ‘L’ word – Ed]ber.

So surprisingly it turns out to be cheaper and easier to just have a fresh diode fitted inside a driver.

So THAT means I have a shiny new Spyder Arctic III for sale – total run time of 90 seconds on the diode – just enough to take some basic measurements and shoot a short movie.

What's in the box - training lens has the smaller aperture

Comes complete with safety glasses, charger, instructions, safety lens, 2 batteries and all original packaging. Retail price is $299 – yours for $200 + shipping.

(BONUS : Shipping is from the US, so you don’t have to wait for weeks and weeks (and weeks) the way I did!)
